Open House~

Bowie Memorial School

Jake, Ashley and Logan had open house tonight. They are doing well in school so far, Jake has a little problem with talking! So his desk was moved away from the other students, but we are working on this. Jake loves to be one who makes his friends laugh and tends to be very popular in school so hopefully he can keep his lips zipped at least until recess time.

The Big E

We took the kids to the Big E today! The Big E is a huge fair held every September it is the largest fair in the northeast and only about 15-20 minutes from our home. Today was Chicopee day, which is our city. So each kids gets a free pass from school to attend after school hours. They have so much fun there, I wish I brought my camera but once again I left it sitting at home! I am so bad in that department!!
They each rode a few rides and rode the big slide which is one of their favorite things to there. We were exhausted by time the night was done, not to mention are wallets were getting lighter. Hopefully the kids get up for school tomorrow since we did not get home till almost 10:30 and tomorrow is a school day~
Here is a map of how big the fair actually is...

The weather was perfect for football sunny but with a nice cool wind.
Yesterday afternoon was Tyler first JV football game, he had a varsity game on Friday night but he did not see any playing time. He did okay for his first game considering his head was not into it due to a headache and sore throat from allergies!
He is number 28 and the position he plays is Quarterback.....

Now on another note.... I have to give his two younger brothers and sister credit they would rather enjoy their time out of school riding bikes or playing video games but since they are to young to stay home alone they grudgingly follow us. The only things with this is they get bored quickly, so the fighting starts and the whinning!!! Which make it hard for Mom & Dad to watch the game!!
But we do appreciate that you go, so we can watch your brother's games

Fall Football~

Football season has started at our House!
Always a sign that Fall is right around the corner. Jake had his first game on Sunday and for his first year playing he did an AWeSoMe job!!!
His number is 81 and the postion he plays is Cornerback, below is a video of his best tackle of the day!

Just watch the first 40 seconds to see the tackle!

I also snapped a few pictures of him....

Tyler is playing High School Football he was the only Freshmen to be chosen to play for the Junior Varisty team and the Varisty team.
The postion he plays is Quarterback and his first game is Monday the 15th. The first Varsity game is Friday night I don't think he will get any playing time in that game though he will mostly be watching the varisty Quarterback and learning the plays, he will get a lot playing time on the J.V. Team and I can not wait to see his first game!
